God did not create hell to throw man into it. However, as some of the angels in heaven fell by pride, they could not be retained in heaven. God therefore created hell so that these fallen angels or demons could be sent there - "everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41).
If God created hell only for the fallen angels, how can human beings also go there? Our loving God does not want anyone to go to hell. Even if a person commits sin, God does not want to send him to hell-fire. Jesus came down to earth from heaven and died for our sins to rescue us from hell-fire. "God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3 :16).
In fact, no matter what sin a sinner has committed, it will not take him to hell. However, if he rejects the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, he chooses hell-fire for himself, just like a person who turns off the light, chooses darkness.
In a broad sense, hell is the absence of God's presence. If the Lord Jesus Christ is not in your heart, hell has already started in your heart - you have no peace and you are tormented with fear, the guilt of unconfessed sins, etc. Such people go to everlasting hell-fire when they die.
Similarly, those who have accepted the Lord Jesus into their hearts and have been cleansed and washed by the blood of Jesus from every sin, will have peace, grace and joy overflowing in their hearts, and when they end their life on this earth, they will go to eternal heaven.
Dear brother/sister, what is in your heart? It is filled with fear, worry, trouble and torment, please let Jesus Christ come into your heart bringing in heaven with all its fullness.
